INV-Lite Shock Mounts

Unique Cam-Lever design holds Ultra-short Shotgun Microphones at the XLR base

INV-Lite is the new addition to the Rycote InVision range of boom shock mounts specifically designed for indoor boom pole recording with Ultra-short shotgun microphones.

The unique ‘cam-lever’ design grips the mic at its rear near the XLR without touching the Interference tube slots. This allows complete exposure of the slots permitting standard slip-on foam windscreens without the typical "clips" being in the way.

Each INV-Lite incorporates Patented Lyre® technology with new “wide” Lyre design to allow attachment of foam slip-on solutions. The new rod weight-distribution system provides superb balance across the entire suspension for superior performance.

Choose one of two models:

BASEBALL

Felt covered "Cavity-like" Windscreens for Eliminating Boom-cueing "Swooshes"

Baseball is the 3" soft windscreen that creates a cavity-like internal air space around the microphone capsule. Specifically designed for interior boom pole use it offers a simple solution to greatly reduce the 'swooshes' that are induced by fast boom swings and other rapid movements. Baseball's internal transparent open-cell foam is covered with a soft, felt like material that is stitched up like a typical baseball for lasting durability.

Baseball is fitted with a soft yet durable end-cap. Made of thermoplastic elastomer – a unique plastic and rubber mix – the end-cap helps secure the mic and provides an effective seal against wind.

Choose one of two sizes:
